3A Class Chalet @ East Coast Park

Hahaha it was SO fun.

Okaayyy.

Woke up by Nicholas' morning call.
Met him at the bus stop.
Met Shariff at Bedok Interchange.
Took bus to Changtat's house.
Played Xbox.
Took taxi to Costa Sands at East Coast Park.
Checked in with Marcus.
Played Xbox.
Played soccer.
Played at the seaside.
Played Xbox again.
Was walking to McDonald's...

(3A Class Chalet damn fun right?)

..and suddenly I received a call from Shahirah.

She asked if I want to watch My Chemical Romance Live at Max Pavilion. She had an extra $95 ticket and she's selling it to me at the price of $50.

It was a deal. It was 6.45pm btw. And the doors open at 7pm.

So I took a cab (no other alternative) down to Singapore Expo and managed to reach by 6.55pm.

Shahirah came to look for me, and then I joined Aisyah and her in the "Q Jumpers" line. (Oh the Q Jumpers were given out by 987FM and they were white wristbands.) I didn't have one.

There's this ULTRA KIND lady who'd got two Q Jumpers. I begged for her one and she gave me.

But I was still short of the green wristband, which had to be exchanged with the ticket. Fortunately, there's this person at the door who gave me a green wristband. (He took my ticket, of course.)

Next, we ran into the theatre. -_- How pathetic.

We settled ourselves at the left side, because Aisyah and I wanted to have a close look of Frank Iero. We were at the fourth row from the front.

We then waited until 8.10pm. Took pictures.

These were the wristbands I was referring to.

That's a Gibson Les Paul Custom. Wicked.

More and more people started coming in. The people from the back kept pushing, which was good, in a way, because they pushed us forward to the third row, then to the second.

Lol the drummer was replaced because the current drummer has wrist injuries and he could not whack the drums. Haha Bob Bryar haha.

When My Chemical Romance went on stage at about 8.45pm, the crowd went high. They kept pushing us, which was good, because it was towards the right side.

But we got pushed back a little, and we were back in the fourth row. Then I got separated from Aisyah and Shahirah.

The next part was torturing. As MCR performed, the crowd kept pushing in all directions. I nearly fell twice. The heat was very uncomfortable. Everyone was covered in sweat. Quite a number of people fainted, some claimed that they could not breathe, so they got carried out of the free standing area.

I helped to carry these people out, and at the same time squeezing my way towards the front. I ended up in the second row at the centre area. (That's cool.)

Next, I asked two guys, who were in the front row, to move aside. And they did, so I took my place in the first row directly behind the barricade. And I was standing directly in front of Frank, Mikey and Gerard.

They were great.

My Chemical Romance played these songs, from what I can remember (not in order):

Helena

Welcome To The Black Parade

Dead
The End
I Don't Love You
This Is How I Disappear
I'm Not Okay (I Promise)
Cancer
Sleep
Mama
House Of Wolves
Teenagers
Famous Last Words
Give 'Em Hell, Kid
Desert Song

Yeap. It's about 2 hours of performance.

Gerard performed rather well. He brought the crowd up really high. There was a part during the performance when he asked the guys to remove their shirts and swing them in the air like what he did to his towel.

Okay this is my idol, Frank Iero. He was using a Gibson Les Paul Standard. Just now, he did his guitar swings brilliantly. He got into the fucking mood and played really hard. During one of the breaks, he used water bottles to splash water at us. Oh yah, he spat a lot during the performance.

Ray was quite far from me as compared to the rest of the band members. But I still managed to take a shot of him, since I was standing at one of the best positions that everyone wanted to be at. Heh.

He's one funny guy who kicked the security guard's head and just smiled.

Okay, Ray did his guitar solos amazingly well. I like his 'Teenagers', 'I Don't Love You' & 'Welcome To The Black Parade' solos. Awesome.

Mikey's back from his honeymoon. I think he did improve on his body language. He plays a Fender Precision Bass btw, which is awesome.

Mikey loves to throw his picks. He did it twice just now. The first time he threw it to the group of people just behind me. They missed it and the pick dropped on the floor. It was impossible to take the pick because everyone's pushing each other. The second time he threw it further behind and I heard someone managed to catch it.

When the concert ended, and when the people behind me moved away, I searched for Mikey's bass pick...and I found it.

My Chemical Romance's Mikey Way's bass plectrum. Wicked.

Yeah. My Chemical Romance's Black Parade concert rocked big time.

I think I'm a very lucky boy.

I was the first person that was in Aisyah's mind when she thought of who to sell the ticket to.
I paid $50 for a $95 ticket.
I got the Q Jumper from that kind lady.
I did not need to wake up at 5am to queue up to be standing in the first row.
I just needed to be informed 15 minutes before the doors to MCR's concert are opened.
I had Aisyah and Shahirah to 'chop' places for me.
I managed to watch My Chemical Romance live, at such a close distance.
I managed to squeeze my way into the front row, at the centre area.
I found Mikey's bass pick.

Go My Chemical Romance!

Lol thanks a lot, Aisyah and Shahirah.
